What You Will Learn
In this study, we will discuss Carol Anderson’s book White Rage in which she links the historical flashpoints when social progress for African Americans was countered by deliberate and cleverly crafted opposition, pulling back the veil that has long covered actions made in the name of protecting democracy, fiscal responsibility, or protection against fraud, rendering visible the long lineage of white rage.
NOTE: This course section is specifically for individuals seeking graduate units through Seattle Pacific University (SPU) or Brandman University (BU). There are graded assignments due in order to receive credit. Students seeking units must register directly with SPU or BU and pay required fees which are separate from the fee to take this course.
